After an intensive week-and-a-half of nurturing, writing, recording, and producing a new original, it brings me much relief and excitement to let my indie-rock/bardcore beat anthem "The Crossing of Auspices" fly loose and find roost in the world 🕊️🙏.

There is a broader tie-in within the song to the theme of augury, an ancient Greco-Roman practice of divination where certain priests, or "augurs," would observe patterns of birds and receive "auspices," or omens that would inform their actions.
