Wassup!
I tend to start off Tidings with talk of the weather, and this week is no different. Milwaukee is finally breaking loose its frosty persistence in exchange for a fluctuating turn of phase from spring to summer. That all goes to say: this is good, and I am glad.
Over the past week of warmcold, two exciting things happened within the realm of independent music: the first is the public launch of Subvert.fm, and the second is the release of my latest single "Chef Eats Last." For the former, I wrote an extensive overview about it from a musician's perspective, having stayed tuned over the past two years to the platform's development. For the latter, the track literally dropped 5 hours ago. It's up on all platforms already—I'll have a tidier newsletter to send out with more words than just the casual mention here in Tidings very soon. |
